"Leitrim pottery is based in Rossinver, the home of the organic centre, The New Ballagh Centre and the Rossinver fishery. Seven years ago I moved to Rossinver from Co. Down, where I worked in adult education as a cross community tutor.
From my studio overlooking the Rossinver Mountains, I create functional and decorative stoneware and earthenware pottery, watched through the window by a flock of free range ducks and chickens! My interests in Gardening, Cookery, foraging in the surrounding forests for wild mushrooms, fishing on Leitrim's lakes and and surfing on the wild Atlantic coast, all give inspiration for the shapes, colours and uses of the pottery."
